How We Use AI
AI powers several features in BlaBlaNote, always with the goal of saving you time and helping you focus on what matters: your relationships.
Voice Transcription
Your voice recordings are automatically turned into written text, so your spoken notes become searchable and easy to revisit.
Conversation Summaries
After your recording is transcribed, AI creates a short summary, pulls out the key phrases, and figures out what kind of conversation it was. You can quickly catch up without replaying the whole thing.
Task Extraction
AI spots action items and to-dos in your conversations and adds them to your task list. You can always review, edit, or remove them.
Contact Detection & Enrichment
AI figures out who you were talking about and links your notes to the right people in your network. It can also pull in professional info from LinkedIn to keep profiles up to date.
Meeting Preparation
Before your meetings, AI looks at the event details and who's attending to give you useful context, conversation starters, and a quick preparation checklist.
Contact Monitoring
When you turn it on, AI keeps an eye on your contacts' public professional activity. Weekly, monthly, or whenever you prefer. You pick which contacts to monitor and how often.
Smart Search
AI makes search smarter by understanding what you mean, not just what you type. So if you search for 'marketing people I met in Barcelona,' it actually gets it.
Language Detection
BlaBlaNote automatically detects the language you're speaking in, supporting 12+ languages. Just talk naturally, no need to change any settings.
What AI Does NOT Do
Just as important as knowing what AI does is knowing where we draw the line.
No decisions on your behalf
AI suggests and helps, but you're always in control. It won't send emails, delete contacts, or take any action without your say-so.
No sharing with third parties
Your data is yours. We don't share your conversations, contacts, or personal info with anyone for their benefit.
No advertising profiling
We don't use AI to build advertising profiles. Your conversations are never analyzed to serve you ads. We don't sell your data to anyone. Period.
No sensitive data processed
Your passwords and payment info are never sent to AI. Only the data needed for each specific feature is processed, nothing more.
No background scanning
AI only works when you use a feature. There's no hidden analysis running in the background without your knowledge.

Who powers our AI
We use Google Gemini as our main AI, and Anthropic Claude as an alternative. For turning your voice into text, we use Amazon's transcription service. For smart search, we run our own AI model inside our private servers, so that data never leaves our network.
Your data stays in the EU
BlaBlaNote runs on Amazon Web Services in the EU (Ireland). Our smart search AI runs entirely within our own private servers. Your data doesn't go anywhere it shouldn't.
Your data is private, always
We keep technical logs to make sure everything runs smoothly and securely. But nobody at BlaBlaNote reads your conversations or personal data. Your content is yours, and our Privacy Policy explains exactly how we protect it.
We only send what's needed
We're strict about this: only the minimum data needed for each AI feature gets processed. For example, meeting prep only uses event details and attendee names, never full email addresses or private contact info.
EU AI Act Classification
Based on our internal assessment under the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), BlaBlaNote's AI systems are classified as follows. This classification is reviewed periodically and updated as our features and the regulatory framework evolve.
Limited risk: transparency obligations
BlaBlaNote's AI features fall under the limited risk category with transparency obligations as defined in Article 50 of the EU AI Act. Since our AI generates text content (summaries, task lists, meeting briefs), we comply with Article 50(2) by clearly identifying AI-generated outputs so users can always distinguish them from content they created themselves.
Not a high-risk AI system
BlaBlaNote does not operate in any of the eight high-risk categories listed in Annex III of the EU AI Act (biometrics, critical infrastructure, education, employment, essential services, law enforcement, migration, or administration of justice). All AI outputs are advisory in nature and require user review before any action is taken.
Clear AI disclosure
In compliance with the transparency requirements of Article 50, all AI-generated content within BlaBlaNote is clearly labeled. This includes interaction summaries, extracted tasks, contact insights, and meeting preparation materials. Users always know what came from AI and what didn't.

You're in control of your data. Here's what you can do:
